Golder Will Trust, Lyegrove, near Badminton, sold Christie's, London, 4 June 1997, lot 657. West-East, The Niall Hobhouse Collection, Christie's, London, 22 March 2008, lot 218.The London and Lancaster firm of Gillow, who introduced such 'urn' feet at the start of the 19th century, featured a simpler but related reed-enriched canterbury, in their 1826 Estimate Sketch Book.
