The gently contoured ovoid body painted in the Ming 'heaped and piled' style with lotus, peony, and chrysanthemum blossoms issuing from meandering leafy tendrils with a subtle three-dimensional effect; the shaped handles at shoulders decorated with small blossoms on leafy vines and joining a cylindrical neck decorated with plantain leaves and a floral band near mouth; all reserved against a lemon-yellow ground.
