The exterior decorated with roundels, each enclosing a pair of confronting phoenix amongst clouds, interspersed with cloud scrolls, all between decorative bands; the interior centered with a medallion depicting a qilin looking back beneath a pine tree, the interior rim decorated with shaped cartouches enclosing birds, reserved against a coin-pattern border. (Diameter 13 1/2 inches) Overall good condition; minor glaze chips and production imperfections.
