A GEORGE III MAHOGANY CHAIRCIRCA 1760, IN THE MANNER OF THOMAS CHIPPENDALEThe back with Chinese paling above a close-nailed Castle Cary horsehair fabric drop in seat95cm high, 57cm wide, 59cm deep ProvenanceBy descent in the Hobhouse family, at Hadspen House, Somerset until sold;West - East: The Niall Hobhouse Collection, Christie's London, 22 May 2008 (part of lot 54). 品相： The timber with some inevitable marks, rubbing, scratches, dents and discolouration consistent with age and use. The paling struts are all secure and sturdy but have had old repairs in the past. The fabric seat has some minor marking.
