A Chinese chestnut ground dragon robe, late 19th century, probably southern Chinese and most likely found its way to the west as a bolt of embroidered silk and then cut and made into a dress made for a western family member, 130cm hem to collar x 120cm cuff to cuff Embroidered in the colours of the late 19th century, including the aniline purple introduced to China around 1860. 十九世紀晚期 赭石地龍紋袍 品相： altered and made in Western style and some copper thread missing and becoming detached and some wear throughout and a few stains
