A Chinese jade sword chape, Han Dynasty (202BC-220AD), the trapezoidal sword fitting of a thick lenticular cross-section, finely carved on both sides with stylised chilong dragons, all within a slightly raised border, the semi-translucent stone of greenish-white tone suffused with buff colour, finished to a lustrous polish, 5.5cm long x 3.3cm high漢 勾雲紋玉劍珌 品相: the drilled side of the jade with remnants of iron russet
