This is an important early American genealogical and historical work compiling New England epitaphs and inscriptions with notes, considered a significant early preservation of burial records. Period marbled boards. With armorial bookplate of Robert Clarence Pruyn affixed to the inside front cover, documenting Provenance. In fair antique condition with age wear, foxing, and binding losses.
