An unmarked but most likely Scottish silver ornamented quaich bowl. The shallow form is elevated by a repousse fluted body, alternating between plain panels and finely worked floral motifs. At the center is a large bezel-set faceted gem, notably unfoiled, the opposing lug handles are cast in a thistle form each set with (2) faceted gems (1) purple and (1) yellow both foil-backed. Total approx. weight is 3.45 troy oz (gross). From a Manhattan, NY estate. Dimensions: item measures approx. 2.75" in diameter (excluding handles). 品相: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents.
