A Chinese silk embroidered civil rank badge, fifth rank, late Qing dynasty, worked in predominantly gilt and blue threads depicting a silver pheasant amidst Buddhistic emblems and vapours, perched on a rock with crashing waves, within a shou medallion and bat surround, 29cm x 29cm, framed and glazed. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex lady collector.
