A Japanese Imari porcelain vase, Meiji period, the ovoid body and cylindrical neck painted and gilt with opposing panels of figures in landscape, reserved against an iron red and gilt ground with smaller panels of birds and flowers, iron red enamelled six-character mark to base, height 59cm (some minor restoration to base). Provenance: from the estate of a Sussex gentleman.
