This example, with a production year of 1978 (based on serial no. 5191630), features a 34 mm stainless steel case, a stainless case back Ref. 1500, a 14kt yellow gold engine-turned bezel, and an acrylic crystal with Cyclops lens. The champagne dial has applied gold-tone indices with luminous dots, luminous gold-tone hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position with a champagne date wheel. It is fitted with a two-tone stainless steel and 14kt yellow gold Rolex USA Jubilee five-piece link bracelet, with matching two-tone stainless steel and 14kt yellow gold end links, and a two-tone stainless steel and 14kt yellow gold Oysterlock fold-over clasp. The watch is powered by a fine Swiss-made Rolex Cal. 1570, 26-jewel automatic movement with a 48-hour power reserve. Accompanied by a Rolex service box, foam inserts, factory service booklet, one-year service warranty papers bearing the serial no. 5191630 dated 1995, and a receipt. From a Stamford, CT estate.
