陳鳴遠(款）紫砂荷葉杯 Naturalistically modelled in the form of a lotus leaf, the finely textured vessel is raised on a small snail-form support and fitted with a gracefully arched stem handle terminating in a carved lotus pod. Richly sculptural in conception, the piece reflects the playful ingenuity associated with Chen Mingyuan, bearing an apocryphal seal mark. 陳鳴遠,清代康熙年間,號鶴峰，又號壺隱，江蘇宜興人，清代著名紫砂陶藝家，尤擅花貨、象生器及文房雅玩，善以瓜果、花木等自然形態入器。
