北齊 帶銘文 大理石一佛二弟子 Carved from marble with a central standing Buddha flanked by two disciples, each figure raised on a lotus pedestal beneath a trefoil-shaped mandorla. The rectangular base is carved to the front with Buddhist and auspicious motifs and inscribed to the reverse, recording that the image was respectfully commissioned on the seventh day of the seventh month of the seventh year of the Tianbao reign, corresponding to 556, during the reign of Emperor Wenxuan of the Northern Qi dynasty.
