東周 銅錯金銀鋪首銜環方壺 Of compressed pear-shaped square section, rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck and everted rim, the body elaborately inlaid in gold and silver with dense symmetrical scrollwork, set to the sides with taotie-mask handles suspending loose rings, the foot and neck further decorated with geometric bands. Eastern Zhou dynasty period. 本品為東周戰國時期青銅禮酒器方壺，器作方口束頸，碩腹斂足，器身四方，造型飽滿端莊。肩部兩側分鑄獸首鋪首，銜活環，鋪首五官立體，鑄造工藝精謹。通體以錯金、錯銀工藝滿飾流轉勾連雲渦紋，金銀二色交輝，紋樣迴環綿密，層次繁複而排布有序；口沿、頸部、圈足分別飾三角幾何邊飾，紋飾規整華美，是東周貴族青銅器錯嵌工藝之代表。可參考上海博物館藏戰國錯金銀雲紋方壺；另參考 J. J. Lally 舊藏戰國晚期至西漢早期錯金銅方壺，曾展於 Bronze and Gold in Ancient China，2003年3月24日至4月12日，展品編號16。
