漢 罕見錯金銀獸首嵌玉枕 The bronze rectangular headrest is cast with terminal supports in the form of stylized beast heads finely inlaid with gold and silver geometric motifs. The main resting surface is set with polished, fitted triangular pale celadon and amber-toned jade plaques held within an inlaid bronze framework, showing malachite encrustation and patina throughout the metal support. Han Dynasty period 兩漢時期，青銅錯金銀及玉石鑲嵌工藝臻於鼎盛，此類銅鑲玉枕多見於王侯陵寢，存世稀少。本品青銅鑄成長几式枕架，下承彎曲足座，兩端飾對稱獸首，造型雄渾古樸。通體錯金銀雲紋及幾何紋，金銀華彩與青銅古銹相映。枕面以銅框構成菱形格紋，內嵌多片白玉，並以瑪瑙、綠松石點綴，材質豐富，工藝精細。整器結構完整，錯金銀及鑲嵌保存良好，古雅華貴，為漢代青銅與玉作工藝相結合之珍罕器物。
