漢 青玉浮雕獸紋蓋盒 Carved from a celadon jade displaying warm russet skin and subtle buff altered areas, the circular box is fitted with a matching flat cover. The top of the cover is carved in high relief with a sinuous, coiled chilong framed by a ground of delicate incised cloud scrolls, while the rounded exterior walls of the box and base are carved and detailed with incised motifs. Han Dynasty period.
