漢 青玉蒲紋璧 Carved from a celadon jade of mottled dark grey-green and brown tones, the flat circular disc is centered with a plain aperture. The surface is finely incised with an overall rushes pattern formed by a lattice of intersecting lines framing small low-relief bosses, all framed within narrow plain inner and outer borders. Han Dynasty period.
