A poignant relic of Imperial Russia, the Khodynka "Cup of Sorrows," a porcelain and enamel cup issued to commemorate the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II in 1896. The cup is decorated with imperial iconography, including the crowned cipher of Nicholas II and the State Emblem of the Russian Empire. From a New Rochelle, NY estate. Dimensions: cup measures approx. 4" in height. 品相： Wear commensurate with age and use. Losses to the gilt decoration throughout, consistent with age and handling. A chip is present to the rim.
