Large Thuringian faience cylindrical jug with polychrome high-fire painting depicting a ‘cartouche with a landscape scene’ and floral motifs on a manganese-speckled ground, with a pewter mount and a godron-decorated lid dated 1787, inside, the pewter caster’s mark ‘ICH’ with a lion, probably from Schleiz in Thuringia, the base is marked in blue with ‘NB’, H. 30 cm, signs of wear Großer Thüringen Fayence Walzenkrug mit polychromer Scharffeuerfarben Malerei "Kartusche mit Landschaftsszene" und Blumenornamenten auf mangan gesprenkeltem Grund, Zinnmontierung und godronierter Deckel datiert 1787, innen Zinngießermarke "ICH" mit Löwe, wohl Schleiz in Thüringen, Boden in blau gemarkt "NB", H. 30cm, Gebrauchsspuren
