Monochromes from an Important American Private Collection the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue Diameter 10⅛ in., 25.8 cm Compare a closely related bowl of this form in the Nanjing Museum, Nanjing, illustrated in Xu Huping, Treasures in the Royalty: the official kiln porcelain of the Chinese Qing dynasty, Shanghai, 2003, pl. 339.
