Pair of Small Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Tile & Hardwood Stands Late 19th- early 20th century, Chinese A pair of small Chinese hardwood stands with famille rose tile inserts. Each tile features a hand-painted birds and flowers scene with calligraphy. Each tile has a raised lip with gilt accenting along borders. The carved hardwood stand has a stylized relief taotie mask motifs along with winding scroll work at each side, with tapered legs affixed to a carved square form base. Nice old patina to wood on stand.
