Large Full Size Ships Figurehead of Mermaid Mounted on Custom Heavy Steel Stand Late 19th-early 20th century This large ships figurehead is made of large laminated sections of carved wood with polychrome painted detail and most likely was not mounted to a ship. Construction carved from large wide sections. Catalloguer's Note: Mark displayed this figurehead in the staircase hallway at 106 Arch St, Sunbury PA. He purchased it many years ago at the Brimfield Antique Show. It is quite heavy and the stand is extremely heavy, it was custom made for Mark to display this figurehead.
