Burmese Carved Hardwood Oval Table Late 19th century, Burmese Antique Burmese carved hardwood oval table. Features elaborate relief work around broder of table top with various animals, includign elephants, birds, snakes, tigers, with village temples. Pierced openwork sides with intricate floral scrollwork. The tops of the legs feature matching floral openwork with a carved dragon "eating" the table legs from the ground upwards. Marked on bottom with "Bekins pc. no. 375" label and a small previous inventory label.
