Chinese Hardwood Altar Table possibly 19th century, Chinese Chinese hardwood altar table with the skirt on both ends with carved Lingzi. The center table features an openwork geometric design. The ends also with matching openwork geometric designs. The hardwood is light with dark graining, possibly Huanghuali wood. The top center panel is one large piece of hardwood with the outside edges a separate piece of wood. The legs are also carved from one solid piece of hardwood, as well as the lower stretchers.
