Fine Chinese Hardwood Dragon & Bat Carved Cabinet Chest Late Qing period, Chinese A finely carved, possibly Zitan wood, Chinese dragon cabinet chest. Please see close-ups of grain. The front panel is carved with bats in each corner. Center panel carved with two high relief detail dragons with flaming pearl among clouds. Side and back panels raised with no carving. The top is hinged to open, the front also opens to show three wood drawers. Scroll work raised on front skirt and side skirt.
