Chinese Khe Cheong Gold Qing Dynasty Hairpins in Original Maker's Box Late 19th century, Chinese Chinese gold Qing dynasty hairpins with minute gold filigree central flower with gold spring attached to leaves and smaller flowers, buds. When worn, the springs would allow the flowers to move and glimmer in the light. Two small gold hairpins accompaniment, both in the shape of a vase with two prongs each. The original maker's box with brocade exterior, silk blue lining, and a large maker's label with a smaller, older, maker's label, possibly the address changed and the larger label covers the earlier address. Made by the listed maker: Khe Cheong. Box with two original paper labels for maker.
