Matched Pair of Chinese Gilt Copper Ritual Wine Cups (Jue) Kangxi period (17th-18th century), Chinese This is a matched pair of finely engraved Chinese gilt copper ritual wine cups ("Jue"). Two-panel raised design of birds and flowers with a circular panel of Chinese characters to front and back. The larger field engraved with scrolling flower design. Standing on three gilt tripod feet. Cataloguer's Note: Mark has not seen another pair of this type, although the workmanship is the quality of 17th century metalwork.
