Matched Pair of Sri Lanka Bronze Royal Chiefs, Kandy 19th century, Sri Lankan The bronze pair of chief from Kandy and attendant are in the elaborate costumes that the nobles of Kandy wore in the 18th-19th century. The chief wears the square shaped hat. Both with noble pose standing on a finely engraved stand. Chief: the facial features, clothing, and necklace are all very finely chased with elaborate floral design. The beard with fine hair and mustache, eyebrows, ect..
