Large Early Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Bowl in Chinese Style Meiji period, Japanese Interior of bowl with ryu-shaped clouds, two large dragons chasing a red flaming pearl, dragons with five claws, upper border has a Greek key pattern, and a gilt copper border to bottom center. The exterior with scrolling flower design, red and white lotus petal lappets, stylized dragon butterfly and phoenix medallions. The bottom cloisonne features small dark blue clouds and floral design. All of the copper and wires have been gilded. Mark says "this is a very unusual bowl for size and design"
