Antique Ottoman Empire Scribe's Silver Divit Qalamdan Pen Box w/ Inkwell 19th Century, possibly older, Ottoman Empire Antique silver scribe's calligraphic pen case (divit qalamdan) crafted from silver, featuring an inkwell on the side and an Arabic seal on the cap to pen case proper. Edges, ends, and well sport delicately etched floral and foliage designs. Attached by chain is an unusual seal. Total weight: 536 g. Cataloguer's Note: This tested to be 900 silver.
