Pair Chinese Archaic Style Bronze Hu Shaped Vases Late Ming- early Qing dynasty, Chinese This heavily cast pair of archaic design with stylized birds, and a background with fine geometric designs. The patina ranges from black to dark brown with some areas of wear in a lighter brown. Interior with archaic characters. Bottom with diamond shaped design, typical of late Ming bronzes. Mark says: "It is unusual to find a pair of this shape from most likely the 17th century."
