Pair 19th Cent. Japanese Imari Covered Jars w/ Lids 19th century, Japanese A pair of 19th century Japanese Imari covered jars with lids. This nice pair of faceted Imari jars with under glaze blue and red design of cherry trees blooming and flower gardens. Lids feature a dome shaped finial and fluted edges. Gilt highlights throughout. The bodies with gilt highlights to all panels and on top of the underglaze blue. Very elegant pair.
