Chinese Porcelain Doucai Glazed Teapot w/ Cover 18th-19th century, Chinese Chinese porcelain Doucai glazed teapot and cover with silver enameled handle, matching chain, and spout cover. The body of the tea pot is formed with ribbed design having underglaze blue and famille rose circular medallions painted around surface. Some appear to be famille rose and others appear to be Doucai glazed. This nice teapot was made for Chinese, not export. Lid is underglazed blue with three bats in flight. Traces of gilt to enamel. Old collection tag "353" to bottom. Handle is stamped with Chinese characters.
