The entire scroll measures 32 inches X 76 inches. The painting's subject and the style of brushwork are done in a literati landscape tradition reminiscent of late Qing to early Republican era painting (late 19th-early 20th century). The writing translates to ?After the rain, the trees gleam and the icy mountains are clear. The stream flows through the cool village; traces of fishing are tranquil.
