1822. Besancon, France. Complete in 14 volumes. Published by Chez Gauthier Freres, Libraries. All volumes are in Very Good condition. Written entirely in French. All volumes are half bound in black leather with marbled boards, and embossed in gold on the spine for the title. The spines are attached and the bindings are tight in all volumes, with all pages attached. There are no owner?s bookplates or markings. The end pages are also marbled and spines are hubbed. There is some minor foxing to some of the pages. Acquired from the estate of a world-renowned French-American Cardiologist who had an extremely strong Catholic faith and whose research was both published and awarded.
