This is a complete, 48 volume set of Sir Walter Scott's The Waverly Novels, all in Very Good to Good condition. This appears to be a version of the "Magnum Opus" edition, published between 1829 and 1833, containing the totality of the Scott novels.?Title pages note that they are "printed for Cadell & Company, Edinburgh and Simpkin and Marshall, London.?The books are half bound leather with marbled boards. Bindings on most of the volumes are solid, but a few, especially near the end of the run, have some loose spines.?There are no owner?s markings or book plates.
