A Longquan celadon tripod incense burner

Period Song-Yuan Dynasty (960-1368) Description The cylindrical body moulded with inwards curved rim, supported on three small cabriole feet, covered in a translucent pale green glaze. Dimensions H 6 cm, D 9 cm Condition Report Standing on the low unglazed circle in stead of the three feet. With a ca. 4 cm stress line that runs from the unglazed area over the lower edge to about ⅓ of the body and another ca. 2,5 cm crack in the glaze and the clay at the upper edge that is not visible on the exterior part. Small areas of roughness and a few minor firing flaw spots. No restoration.
