A set of five Longquan celadon ribbed jarlets

Period Song Dynasty/Ming Dynasty (960-1644) Description The five pots decorated with carved vertical ribs extending from the shoulder to the foot and all of similar but slightly different form. The interior and exterior covered with a glaze of greenish-blue colour, each displaying slight variations of the glaze tone and the upper and lower rims clear of glaze. Dimensions H 5.9-7 cm Condition Report The jarlets not covered. One jar with a hairline. Some with a few small old chips to the upper and lower rims and some with fine crazing of the glaze from manufacturing and small glaze flaw spots. No restoration.
