Period 16th/17th century Description Of compressed globular form on three short legs, freely painted and incised in ‘sgraffiato’ style with three qilin between flaming pearls, the interior glazed white. With a Chenghua six-character reign mark in underglaze blue at the base. Dimensions H 9 cm, D 22 cm Condition Report Some stress cracks and underglaze blue dots in the interior. A few firing flaws and minor surface wear throughout. No defects such as hairlines or chips and no restoration.
