Period Qing Dynasty or early Republic period Description A pair of ‘whistle’ or ‘signal’ arrows, the wooden heads with four vent holes that produced a whistling sound when flying through the air. A spiral wrap and small green shagreen rings just beneath the arrow heads. The ends of the arrows also with a spiral wrap and bone tips. Both with a written character at the end of the arrow. Dimensions L 104 cm and 104.5 cm Condition Report One with damaged feathers.
