A blue and white 'lotus scroll' dish, Qianlong mark and of the period (1736-1795)

Period Qing Dynasty Description The dish with shallow, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, decorated on the exterior with a band of stylized lotus blossoms borne on a leafy scroll, which is repeated in a medallion on the interior. Marked with a Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue on the base. Dimensions D 19.3 cm Condition Report A small restoration (glued chip) at 12 and a chip at 10 o'clock, two flea bites to the foot rim. A few miniscule firing flaw spots.
