Period Daoguang period (1821-1850) Description Issued on the 26th day of January in the 30th year of Daoguang Emperor’s (道光, r. 1821-1850) reign, this imperial edict (Shengzhi) grants the Rank of Honor, to the parents of Li Jiarui, the Grand Secretary of the Grand Secretariat, with the honorary title of Vice Minister of Rites.
