Period 18th/19th century Description A globular ribbed jar decorated around the body with three groups of floral motifs enclosed within square panels, fitted with a turned and carved wooden cover. Not marked. Dimensions H 12.5 cm (excl. wooden cover) Condition Report A flea bite to the opening, some wear around the bottom rim and a yellowed area at the foot. A few firing flaws, most noticeably some flaws in the lower beaded rim. No defects such as hairlines or chips and no restoration.
