Period Qing Dynasty or early Republic period Description A pair of ‘whistle’ or ‘signal’ arrows, the horn heads with five vent holes that produced a whistling sound when flying through the air. A spiral wrap and a small green shagreen ring just beneath the arrow heads. The ends of the arrows also with a spiral wrap and a green shagreen covering. Dimensions L 90 cm
