Period Tongzhi period (1862-1874) Description Issued on the 28th day of September in the 4th year of Tongzhi Emperor’s (同治, r. 1862-1874) reign, this imperial edict (Shengzhi) grants the title of Glorious Grand Master to the grandfather, and the Lady of the First Rank to the grandmother of Wo Ren, the Chancellor of the Imperial Academy.
