Period Qianlong period (1736-1795) Description Issued on the 25th day of January in the 16th year of Qianlong Emperor’s (乾隆, r. 1736-1795) reign, this imperial edict (Shengzhi) grants the Lady of Rank (gaoming) to Lady Tongjia and Lady Balaya, the wife and the second wife of Longshan, Officer of the Imperial Guard of the first rank, with one grade added.
