A Ming-style doucai 'chicken' cup, Chenghua mark but of later period

Period Probably late Qing Dynasty Description Painted to the exterior with a continuous scene depicting cockerels, hens and chicks beside flowers and rocks, set between a double-line border around the mouth rim and above the foot. The base bears an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark within a double square. Dimensions H 3.5 cm, D 9 cm Condition Report A few miniscule firing flaw spots in the interior and one on the foot rim. No damages such as hairlines and chips and no restoration.
