Dim: 14,3 x 9,5 x 18,5 cm Christie's Amsterdam, 13 December 2012, lot 496 (sold EUR 15.000) A kendi modelled in the form of an elephant, its head raised and tusks forming a double spout. A tall cylindrical vase emerges from a ruyi band on its back, serving as the handle and decorated with a flowering branches. The saddle blanket is painted with a geometric swastika motif and a floral design.
