H.: 25 cm | the tallest H.: 23,6 cm | the smallest A Belgian private collection. The distinctive monogram - a double cross above the letters S, F and N - and the 'sun' emblem also appears on other surviving pharmacy vessels. Its repetition indicates that these pieces belonged to the same order, made for a single pharmacy. The decoration is attributed to the workshop of Giacomo Mancini, called 'El Frate', one of the few named maiolica painters active in sixteenth-century Deruta.
