EUR 3,000 adjusted for inflation at the time of writing. Japan, 1868-1912. Ink, watercolors, gouache, and silver paint on paper. Mounted on silk brocade on two roiro-lacquered wood panels with metal fittings. Finely painted to depict an old, gnarled pine with verdant branches by a meandering stream dotted with irises and bamboo grass.
